We just found that BTC-e has banned an IP address of one of our hosts. The only explanation is that the bot running on that host triggered rate limits of some kind and since the bot attempts again, it banned that IP.
I have created a support ticket with BTC-e to resolve this but if you're seeing issues with BTC-e let me know asap.
Furthermore, please check your code to ensure it isn't triggering calls (like calling update, order info etc). If it is possible, let it get updated on every tick.
#right before we call this function, we perform portfolio and order update
btc_val = portfolio.btc #updated
I will update this thread when I receive more info from the exchange.
This topic is now pinned. It will appear at the top of its category until it is unpinned by staff for everyone, or by individual users for themselves.

After further debugging, it seems that the user probably has a white list IP(s) which doesn't include our servers. I will continue to monitor this.
