Sorted by user name, alphabetically, or chronologically.
All globally shared strategies; one long hyperlink list; nothing fancy, no previews, just strategy names.
I have about 50 globally shared strategies... nobody will ever find them via the "load more" button on the front page.
It would be nice if all public bots were backtested against say 15 different time periods so you could compare them, almost like a public bot profit leader board.
You can view an individual users strategies like this:
And there is a full list of users here:
Maybe we just need a page that links to all users that way with a tally of how many strategies they're sharing?
sort alphabetical by user name / sort by most shared strategies
@sai this seems like a simple and effective solution:
Maybe if "discuss" makes adding another column difficult, you can frame the discuss "user list" page and serve the open source links to the left of each user name in an independent but aligned framed table.
I think that is pretty cool. I don't know whether "discuss" allows that though I am hesitant to make modifications to it.
I think we can add this as a URL to all public strategies. What other columns would you like to see. Perhaps like % returns etc
that works too
the biggest thing for me is how easy is it to access; I'd love to see a link to it on the front page just like the "my strategies" button
sort by user name
sort by user with most shared
sort by date added
then once a user was selected display their work:
sort alpha forward; sort alpha backwards; sort chronolgical
it would be really cool if you could get all users shared into one long list and then sort that list alphabetically/chronologically/ or by user name.
But bare bones is great too. Push button access to other users shared code portfolios is one thing this site definitely lacks.
thats where I was thinking you could "frame" discuss... then put the links to the left in a side frame that was aligned with user name; so it pulled user name from discuss but was otherwise an independent frame.
