I'm re-entering trading after being out a while. I had been using Coinsetter but somehow their volume disappeared so I'm hunting for a new exchange. I live in Tennessee in the US so I can't yet do the Coinbase exchange, but I'd like to be able to withdraw to my bank account if possible. I can't afford to use Coinbase for purchasing because of the long lag time but I'm fine using it to exit the market long term in cash when the time comes. I know a lot of exchanges don't fully support all US users. But I'm pretty nervous about picking a sketchy exchange of finding some sort of policy gotchya I didn't know about after moving my coins over.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I've been at btce and bitfinex for quite some time. I'm very satisfied with security and api performance at both.
To get USD out of crypto in the US I send people to Simran.
Simran is a 18 year old college freshman law student from Texas; he works part time as as a legal assistant.
He was among the first 3000 users at BTCe at age 14. He's one of the earliest LTC miners.
He'll send you up to $1000 daily at 5% however you like it.
You can use his online form for btce code to paypal:
kid is legit; like dealing with family
enquire about current selection of gold chains.
clean peer to peer transactions; litepresence approved

Coinsetter charges a flat fee now.
What about OKCoin? I was able to complete their Level 1 verification using a UK incorporation that I have, so I'm thinking I could do the no-fee trading their and then transfer to something like Coinbase to withdraw whenever I need to permanently convert to cash. Otherwise I could just stay buying and selling at OKCoin.
By the way, the UK is one of the cheapest and fastest places in the world for registering a business. Can be done in a day for less than $50. The catch is that you need a registered address in the UK, but that can be achieved by renting a UK address for about $100-$150 a year and having documents forwarded to a US address. Having the company number and address is all that's needed to complete verification at OKCoin as a Company (not an individual).
Check the forums... maintaining a steady api connection to okcoin has been hit or miss.
Alright. Got a referral code you'd like me to use for Bitfinex?
